An early pioneer of generative programming, primarily using Director (a multimedia application authoring platform), Dextro quickly became influential both inside and outside the Director community for works combining a mix of crisp pixels, erratic animation and blurred surfaces. A look unique at the time that presented a perfect visual counterpoint to a musical scene experimenting with glitch and sound defects.
